Site/Civil Project Manager/Division Leader – 10+ Years’ Experience

Seeking a driven, career-minded individual to fill the Site/Civil Project Manager/Division Leader position.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing land development projects. Duties will include preparation of project deliverables: AutoCAD drawings, reports and technical specifications, project management and project scheduling. Site design tasks will include Permit Acquisition, Land Development Planning & Design, Stormwater Management, Utility Design, Roadway Design, Construction Administration & Inspection and other civil engineering design components. The candidate will be responsible to lead, supervise, manage, and mentor a small team of Site/Civil engineering staff with the support from ownership. The candidate will be responsible for proposal development, client management, project QA/QC, project budget tracking and project profitability. The candidate will report to ownership.

This position requires in-person work primarily out of South Plainfield, NJ office, but will be required to support NY projects.


  • Develop site/civil and multi-disciplined proposals for public or private clients, with a greater concentration on public clients.
  • Manage and mentor junior and mid-level Site/Civil engineers.
  • Work with other Engineers and Surveyors on multi-discipline teams.
  • Manage time and workload effectively which includes planning, scheduling, organizing, and prioritizing with attention to detail (for oneself and their team)
  • Communicate effectively with clients, project team, and contractors.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication as well as strong design skills.
  • Motivated and excited to grow with a medium sized firm and the potential to advance with the company.

  • B.S. in Civil Engineering
  • P.E. in NJ and/or NY
  • Experience with AutoCAD and AutoCAD Civil 3D
  • Minimum 10 years of relevant site and roadway development design and construction, and permitting experience.
  • Familiar with NJ local ordinance codes and DEP storm water management design manuals
  • Familiar with NYC permitting solutions
  • Valid driver’s license and means of transportation
  • Undergo a background check (required)


  • M.S. preferred, but not required
