Industry leaders in design and construction form vote each year for the ENR Best Regional Project Awards which takes place in various regions throughout the United States. Independent juries judge the projects using five criteria, including safety, innovation and teamwork. The Cinnaminson Landfill Solar project, a solar farm built on a 100-acre capped landfill, was the recipient of Best NY Regional Project in the Energy category and will automatically compete in the Best of the Best Projects, a national juried competition appearing in ENR.
The project team behind Cinnaminson Landfill, along winners of the NY Region were honored earlier this month at an awards ceremony in New York. MFS Partners Paul Shim and Gonzalo Trenosky were on hand with the CS Energy team to accept the Best Regional Project award from Engineering News-Record.
