MFS Engineers & Surveyors provided professional surveying and geotechnical engineering services for the New York City Department of Parks and Recreation (NYCDPR) in support of the restoration and reconstruction of three historic staircases on site that were found to be deteriorating and in poor condition. In DeWitt Clinton Park in the Borough of Manhattan, New York.
MFS supported the project by conducting a topographic and utility survey of the three staircases of concern. In addition, our geotechnical engineering division conducted a subsurface investigation and prepared a geotechnical engineering report to provide recommendations for the repair and reconstruction of the staircases.
