Project Details

The proposed development required a two-phased approach for the demolition and construction of the existing building. The first phase consisted of the replacement of a portion of the ground floor (first floor) and the entire second floor to facilitate the installation of the proposed foundation and new steel framing. Subsequently, Phase 2 consisted of the upgrade and expansion of the upper floors, replacing the existing upper floors and constructing additional floors to maximize the zoning height for this location, while preserving the ground floor and 2nd floor areas previously upgraded in Phase 1. The project replaced the interior steel framing creating a new structure within the existing building facade to remain. MFS was retained by Vanbarton Group, LLC in support of this project.
