MFS Engineers & Surveyors provided professional surveying and engineering services to the client in support of this project. The project site, located along the Hudson River Greenway between HRPT Pier 98 and 99, contains a sanitation facility and Con Edison employee parking. Planned construction consisted of a new 190-foot-long by 20-foot-wide pile supported platform between the piers.

MFS' survey team support included surveying physical features such as seawall, face of pier, walls, railing, mooring hardware, timber attached to the seawall/piers, and other items that may be along the seawall/piers. Meanwhile the geotechnical team performed a desktop study to evaluate the subsurface conditions in the vicinity of HRPT pier 98-99, following the study with a design soil profile to analyze the piles to be used to support the new platform on site.
