MFS Engineers & Surveyors provided professional structural engineering services for the Rehabilitation of the Park Avenue Tunnel Emergency Exits at E 59TH St. Project located in Westside of Park Avenue, New York.

The project consisted of the removal and replacement of street level hatches, curbs, sidewalks, structural slab, waterproofing, and sidewalk structural support beams as needed to construct the new emergency exits.

MFS provided the structural design of the temporary shoring at the demolition cut lines, structural analysis and verification of the existing structure to remain to support temporary loads imposed from construction loading, and temporary openings for construction access.

MFS performed all necessary structural design calculations for use in preparing the Final Construction Document set, including construction notes, structural plans, sections, and details as necessary to adequately depict what structural work would be required.
