Project Details

Leveraging our extensive project library, we conducted thorough research to identify existing data relevant to each project, potentially accelerating timelines. Topographic and baseline surveys, profiles, cross sections, and ROW maps were developed to support roadway engineering design. Data from various sources, including aerial imagery and ground surveys, were integrated to meet project requirements and comply with NJDOT regulations.

Rigorous survey control was established in accordance with NJDOT standards, ensuring accuracy and reliability. Horizontal and vertical control points were tied to state coordinate systems and benchmarks. MFS’s efficient use of multiple crews and advanced technologies facilitated safe and timely project execution.

To develop accurate ROW plans, MFS meticulously analyzed NJDOT record plans and conducted field surveys to locate and coordinate property lines. Existing roadway centerlines were aligned with mapped features, and topographic data was overlaid to create a comprehensive representation of the project area. Title documents were obtained and analyzed to establish property boundaries and rights-of-way.

Recognizing the challenges associated with outdated ROW information, MFS proactively engaged with municipal engineering departments to identify potential impacts on project timelines. By anticipating and addressing these issues, we effectively managed project risks and delivered high-quality ROW plans, including Entire Tract Maps, General Property Parcel Maps, and Individual Parcel Maps.
