MFS Engineers & Surveyors provided professional erosion and sediment control (ESC) inspections in support of the relocation of the forensic division for the Manhattan Psychiatric Center, Building 102, in Wards Island, New York.

Project Details

The construction consisted of the improvements to Building 102 and its surrounding areas including modifications to pedestrians and vehicular pathways, recreational yard areas, and rerouting of storm water drainage and utilities. MFS was retained by Woodard & Curran (W&C) to provide ESC site inspections and the production of weekly ESC reports depicting the results and findings of areas of concern. The ESC reports were intended to be used by the contractor for the implementation and maintenance of the ESC practices in accordance with the approved construction documents.
