MFS Engineers & Surveyors provided structural engineering services in support of the Assisted/Independent Living Residences Project located at 105 Old Matawan Road in Old Bridge, New Jersey. The project consisted of the construction of a five-story structure with 24 rooms, and 24 independent apartments. An engineered rain screen framing system supported by ISO clips was to be used to suspend the Hardie Panel exterior siding panels throughout the building facade above the first-floor level.

MFS developed the analysis and design of the proposed rain screen framing hardware and ISO clip anchorage connection to the main structural framing. The structural framing had already been finalized, therefore, MFS provided the rain screen framing shop and erection drawing to allow for the successful installation of the Hardie Panel siding.

MFS performed all necessary structural design calculations and prepared the final shop drawings to be signed and sealed by a New Jersey Professional Engineer including construction notes, plans, sections, and structural details as required to adequately represent the scope of work.
