Principal Engineer
Jose A. Fuertes, Principal Engineer at MFS Engineers & Surveyors, provides executive leadership across multidisciplinary civil engineering and surveying projects.
Mr. Fuertes brings extensive experience managing complex infrastructure and development initiatives, with a strong focus on strategic oversight, quality assurance, and collaborative client engagement. He specializes in due diligence site investigations, preparation of geotechnical engineering reports, construction inspections, geotechnical instrumentation and monitoring, construction management, and sustainable design. His technical expertise also includes retaining wall structures, shallow and deep foundations, and foundation construction inspection.
In his leadership role, Mr. Fuertes guides project teams, supports high-quality project delivery, and plays a key role in advancing the firm's commitment to technical excellence, reliability, and dependable service.
