MFS Engineers & Surveyors provided professional engineering and survey services to Trevcon Construction Co., Inc. (Trevcon) in Jersey City, New Jersey.
The project included the replacement of the 90-year-old Pier 9 and 240 structure, which had exceeded its useful life. During construction, an emergency evacuation barge for the New Jersey-side Ventilation Building was required. MFS was retained to provide survey, geotechnical, and structural engineering services in support of the pier evacuation barge design and construction, as well as to develop the demolition.
