MFS Engineers & Surveyors provided professional engineering services for The New York City Department of Design and Construction (DDC), Division of Infrastructure, for the inspection, management, coordination, and administration of the REI Replacement of Storm and Sanitary Sewer at Willets Point project. Resident Engineering Inspection Services were required for the replacement of old, unlined cast iron pipes with ductile iron pipes in Whitestone Area in Willets in the Borough of Queens. The project also encompassed construction of new storm sewers to eliminate flooding in the area and water main work.

MFS’s Resident Engineer provided all services necessary and required for the inspection, supervision, management, coordination, and administration of the project, and ensured that the required construction work was properly executed, completed in a timely fashion and in conformance with the requirements of the construction documents and good construction practice. MFS was contracted to provide services for the duration of the project, including pre-construction, construction, and post-construction services.
