MFS Engineers & Surveyors provided structural engineering services to support the St. Andrews Church Renovations project. MFS provided professional structural engineering services to assist with the design development for the structural improvements for the St. Andrews Church.

MFS’s structural team performed a structural inspection to observe, measure, and as built the existing St. Andrews Church site conditions relative to applicable local, state, and federal zoning and building laws and regulation. The project consisted of structural renovations which included, replacement of the main staircase, adding new rear stairs and elevator, and repairing the facade.

MFS developed all Construction Document Structural Drawings including foundation and framing sections, elevations, schedules, and typical structural details and Construction Document Engineering Specifications for all components incorporated into the work. MFS assisted with filing the project with the Building Department electronically via DOBNOW and obtaining MTA approval. In addition, MFS provided construction administration services during construction. MFS reviewed all construction submittals, responded to RFIs, and attended site visits to observe general construction progress.
