MFS Engineers & Surveyors provided site/civil engineering support for the Green Infrastructure GI-H Design 2 project. MFS played a key role during the construction phase to ensure the successful execution of green infrastructure retrofits designed to reduce stormwater runoff and improve water quality designed by ARUP.

Throughout construction, MFS’s team conducted periodic site visits as directed by the NYC Department of Environmental Protection (NYCDEP). These visits were aimed at confirming that work proceeded in accordance with contract documents and overall design intent. Following each site visit, MFS submitted detailed observation reports, noting construction activity and identifying areas requiring additional oversight or guidance from the Engineer of Record.

MFS reviewed all contractor-submitted shop drawings and submittals to ensure compliance with project specifications.
