MFS Engineers & Surveyors provided professional geotechnical engineering and survey services for the New York City Department of Environmental Protection (NYCDEP) Owls Head Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP) sludge dock reconstruction project.
The project consisted of the phasing and reconstruction of the Low-Level Relieving Platform (LLRP) that consisted of approximately 850 linear feet of existing timber piles, pile caps, longitudinal wales, timber relieving deck, timber sheeting cut-off wall, and a cast-in-place concrete seawall.
