MFS Engineers & Surveyors provided professional geotechnical engineering services in support of the Public Service Electric & Gas (PSE&G) L-2238 Jackson Road to Cedar Grove Rebuild Project in Passaic and Essex counties, New Jersey.
The 3.82-mile circuit that runs from Jackson Road Substation in Totowa, New Jersey to Cedar Grove Substation in Cedar Grove, New Jersey was abandoned and replaced with a new underground 230kV cross-linked polyethylene (XLPE) circuit with a projected length of 4.4 miles. MFS was retained by PSE&G to provide geotechnical engineering services for the design, construction, and installation of the new underground transmission lines and associated duct banks and manholes.
