MFS Engineers & Surveyors provided professional structural engineering services to The New York State Office of General Services (NYSOGS) on behalf of Woodard & Curran (W&C) to assist in the construction at the Camp Smith Wastewater Treatment Plant in Peekskill, New York.
The construction consisted of the installation of a new protective dome structure to cover three existing 35 ft diameter trickling tanks with 8-inch concrete side walls. MFS was retained by W&C for design review of the dome, investigation of the dome's structural integrity, and design of the connections to the structure.
