NYCDDC Hardware Inventory for Non-Standard Pedestrian Ramp Locations
- Owner: NYCDDC
- Completed: January 2026
- Services: Site/Civil Engineering
MFS Engineers & Surveyors provided professional site/civil engineering services in support of the New York City Department of Design and Construction (NYCDDC) Hardware Inventory Task at Non-Standard Pedestrian Ramp Locations (Project ID: HWP2021TA) at various locations in five boroughs of New York City.
The project consisted of 30 intersection locations, 15 in Manhattan, two in the Bronx, one in Brooklyn, nine in Queens, and the remaining three in Staten Island. The purpose of the hardware condition inventory was to verify the existence of all city-owned hardware (including public infrastructure) and evaluate its hardware condition using the assessment criteria established by NYCDDC General Requirements.
MFS’s site/civil team performed site visits at the 30 intersection locations and documented the hardware condition inventory. After the field work was completed, MFS prepared a report with the summary of the condition inventory based on the NYCDDC criteria guidelines, field maps prepared by others, and hardware inspection documentation.
